Richard Gedeon

Attorney Gedeon practices in the areas of criminal law and family law.  He graduated from Suffolk Law Richard clerked for the Honorable Jose M. Lopez in the District of Columbia Superior Court. In addition, he has practiced higher education law as a fellow at the General Counsel’s Office of American University in Washington, DC.

Attorney Gedeon has been a member of the Boston Bar Association in the Family Law Section and was appointed by the Honorable Robert A. Mulligan, Chief Justice for Administration and Management, to serve on the Child Support Guidelines Task Force to conduct a comprehensive review of the Massachusetts Child Support Guidelines. He is currently a member of the Committee for Public Counsel Services where he provides legal representation to the indigent. His current private practice focuses mainly on criminal law and he has experience practicing in District, Superior, and Federal Court.

Attorney Gedeon believes that giving each client personal attention is the key to developing a positive attorney-client relationship.  He strives to zealously advocate his client’s position and believes that as a lawyer, his primary goal is to understand his client’s suffering and work to relieve it.
